Told my policy was written to replace previous State Farm insurance; later ( when I needed coverage) found out I did not have glass coverage or roadside assistance which was in previous policy!
Be careful & check your policy carefully, make sure you have coverage you need.
When I needed a tow spent an hour on hold & waited 3 hours for tow/ battery charge.

When hit black ice & ended up in ditch, ISP - police had tow done. Was on phone with Safeco & was told to use their service and I would be reimbursed- after the fact the adjuster said they would decide if it was covered.

Delay in processing claim. Had wrong dates, did not get information from body shop. Accident happened on 7th ; today is January 23rd still do not have estimates for repairs- was told truck was being repaired not salvaged. So scheduled truck repairs!
Repairs are scheduled for February 19 - tie rods bent, loose ball bearings. Truck pulls to right - delay causing damage to tires!

I do not have car rental; but was unaware the procedure would take this long. January 7- February 23- if all work is completed in 5 days. Asked to have front end & windshield replaced prior to body work; but that is not an option could add extra 3 days to repair time plus weekends Feb 28-end of month could be realistic time when I would get vehicle back - 7 weeks total!

Can you be without your vehicle for 7 weeks? If it is totaled (70% of value) not cost to replace, it can take months!
For that reason I was happy my vehicle was not totaled!

It is always buyers beware and insurance is no different; having an agent did not help me.
Especially since my coverage was not comparable to previous coverage as I was told.
